How I Work
My approach to counselling is primarily experiential, process-oriented, emotion-focused, and attachment-based. This means that I pay attention to moment-to-moment experiences throughout our time together and attend to them with gentle curiosity and mindful noticing.
Each session may look a little different from the next because what we work through depends mostly on what shows up for you each time. Your needs and goals are unique to you, therefore I intentionally draw from approaches to reflect that, and always from a place that explores the mind-body connection.
I am here to support you and work at a pace that feels right to you and your nervous system.

Philosophy
You are seen with inherent worth, wisdom, and resilience that have taken you this far. You are welcome here just as you are so that you may securely explore your inner world with openness, curiosity, self-compassion, and a little less judgment.
Mental health support is beneficial beyond your lowest points in life. We can all use a check-in from time to time. No matter the size and depth of your struggles, they are all welcome here.
